The funny thing is that fertility treatment isn't paid by American health insurance plans. In Europe the treatment is covered and the plans limit the number of embryos that one can have implanted. But in North America you pay for the fertility treatment on your own and there is no one controlling the procedure. However, when you have 8 babies, the delivery and post natal care is covered. I bet those costs well exceed the cost of fertility treatment.
