Driver clocked at 250 km/h on Hwy. 400

Some guy was charged after Ontario Provincial Police clocked him travelling 250 km/h (about 155 miles/h) on Highway 400 just after midnight. In case you were wondering he was driving an Infinity Infiniti G35 (above).

Police charged him with stunt driving, sometimes referred to as street racing, under the province's Highway Safety Act. He had his car impounded and his license suspended as a result of the charge.

He could face a fine of anywhere from $2,000 to $10,000 if he's found guilty.

Does this guy now hold the record for the fastest on Ontario highways? He can find that out while he waits to get his car back. You get a WAY-TO-GO!!!! What do they expect, he is driving (just like most who have received this ticket,) a car that is capable of doing that speed and more. It will be only a matter of time that some hot shot, rich guy who has money to burn, and a faster car WILL break that record.
