Holy shit we hit 100F today!

I live in Canada so I've never experienced temperatures of 100F. With humidity it was like 120F. It was like standing to close to the fireplace. Can't say I enjoyed it.

Now I know it hit 108F in Phoenix but there was humidity so it felt like 108F. I rather take 108F with no humidity than this 100F sauna.

When I was a kid, in the late 1960s in Toronto we had over 100F in August, regularly.

It may have felt like 100F but I don't think that's the case. Environment Canada records show that last Thursday was the 3rd hottest day in Toronto since they began recording temperatures. The hottest day was July 8, 1936 and it was 105F. It was 101F on August 25, 1948. From what I've been able to find, no other days over 100F.
